Cookie Policy
Most cookie policies open with a long list of cookies. This one does not, because polaristarop.com is published as plain static HTML and CSS: it sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no advertising trackers or third party content. The single external source is Google Fonts, which supplies the typeface, and we describe that openly below.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores on your device when you view a site. Sites use cookies to remember a session, keep a preference, or measure visitor behaviour. Browser storage areas such as localStorage and sessionStorage can do similar work.
Which cookies we use today
None. We leave the table empty rather than invent rows:

The site has no sign-in, basket or personalisation that would require a cookie, so there is no strictly necessary cookie either.
Browser storage
No script runs on the site, so nothing is written to localStorage, sessionStorage or similar areas. Language selection works through separate addresses; no preference is stored.
Google Fonts — the one external source
The typeface used on these pages (Outfit) loads from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Plainly, what that means:
- Your browser sends a request to those addresses.
- With it, Google receives your IP address along with standard request details such as browser type and the address of the page you are viewing. In practice a trace of your visit reaches Google.
- We set no cookie through that request and we have no access to the data Google receives. For Google’s own practices, see the Google Privacy Policy.
If you want to block the font request now, your browser’s settings for restricting third party requests, or a content blocker, will do it; the page then renders with a default typeface and nothing stops working.
Forms
The contact form and the demo request form send nothing until you press submit, and submitting one creates no measurement or tracking cookie. How we handle the information you share through a form is set out in our Privacy Policy and KVKK Disclosure Notice.
If we add analytics later
If we ever need visitor measurement, these are our rules:
- Measurement will be asked for through a consent banner on your first visit.
- No tracking or measurement cookie will be written until you consent. The default state is off.
- The table on this page will be updated with the name, purpose and lifetime of every cookie added.
No such tool exists today; this section is a commitment, not a description of the current state.
Managing cookies in your browser
Even though this site leaves nothing to manage, you can generally view, delete or block cookies from your browser settings. The relevant section sits under privacy and security settings in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and under the privacy tab in Safari. Blocking cookies entirely does not affect how this site works.
The product panel is outside this policy
This page describes the marketing site only. The PolariStar panel runs on the customer organisation’s own server, or in an environment that organisation chooses, and as a web application it may use its own technical cookies for session handling. The customer organisation operating that deployment is responsible for the panel’s cookie and data practices. If you are a user of the panel, your own organisation’s IT contact is the right address for such questions.
Changes
If the technical make-up of the site changes — an analytics tool, an embedded video or a map, for example — this page is updated at the same time. The date above shows the version in force.
